This Privacy Policy explains how JPS Photo (“I,” “me,” or “my”) collects, uses, and shares information when you visit jpsphoto.com, contact me, or book a photography session.

• Booking details submitted through Square Appointments, including appointment notes, access instructions, and preferred shoot times.
• Payment information processed by Square when you pay a deposit or balance. I do not store full payment card numbers on this website.
• Basic technical data that hosting providers may log automatically (such as IP address, browser type, device information, and pages requested) to operate and secure the site.

I do not intentionally collect sensitive personal information (such as government ID numbers, financial account details, or health information) beyond what is necessary to schedule a shoot and process payment through Square.

How I use information

I use this information to:

• Schedule, confirm, and complete photography services
• Coordinate property access and deliver edited photos
• Process deposits and final payments

Booking and payment providers

This website does not use advertising cookies or third-party marketing trackers. The site loads fonts from Google Fonts and, on booking pages, the Square Appointments widget; these providers may set cookies or receive your IP address to deliver their content and process bookings under their own privacy practices. Most browsers let you block or delete cookies through their settings, though some site features may not work correctly if you do.

Data security

I use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards to protect the information I hold, and I rely on Square and my website host to secure the data they process. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so I cannot guarantee absolute security.

This site may link to third-party services such as Square, Instagram, and email. I am not responsible for the content or privacy practices of those sites, and I encourage you to review their policies before providing information.

Sharing

I do not sell your personal information. I may share information only with service providers who help me operate the business (such as Square for booking and payments, and my website host), when required by law, or with your direction (for example, coordinating access with a homeowner you ask me to contact).

Retention

I keep business records, including booking and delivery communications, for as long as needed to provide services, maintain records, and meet legal or tax requirements.

Your privacy rights

You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of the personal information I hold about you by emailing me, subject to information I must retain for legal, tax, or legitimate business recordkeeping. Depending on where you live, applicable privacy laws (such as the Texas Data Privacy and Security Act) may give you additional rights, including the right to confirm whether I process your data and to appeal a declined request. I do not sell your personal information or use it for targeted advertising. I will respond to verifiable requests within the time required by law and will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights. If your request relates to data controlled by Square, I may need to direct you to Square’s tools or support.

Children

This site and my services are intended for real estate professionals and property owners, not for children under 13. I do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

I may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top will change when I do. Continued use of the site after an update means you accept the revised policy.
